Call for Abstracts > 10th ACCP Abstract Submission Guidelines
Abstract submission
- Abstracts should be proofread for accuracy of data and typographical errors before submission.
- Each abstract should be prepared as a Microsoft Word file (font: Arial; font size: 10) and accompanied by an ACCP poster abstract submission form. Send all abstracts to accp2010@elsevier.com. Abstracts submitted in any other format other than stated above will not be considered.
- The closing date for submission is 23 April 2010.
Abstract format
- Abstracts should be in English, contain no more than 350 words, and be structured around the subheadings: Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
- The abstract title, name(s) and affiliation(s) of all authors will not be counted towards the word limit.
- Each abstract should also include a title. Abbreviations should be kept to a minimum and defined after first use. Do NOT include tables, figures or references in the abstract.

Listing of authors
- The names of all authors should follow the format indicated in the Abstract Submission Form.
- The name of the corresponding author and his correspondence details should also be clearly indicated in the Abstract Submission Form.
- The name and address of the presenting author and the corresponding author during the selection stage should be underlined, together with their email and telephone contact details.
Presentation Format
- On the Abstract Submission Form, authors should indicate clearly
The category to which their abstract should belong:
- Clinical Pharmacy / Pharmacy Practice, or
- Research & Education
Their preferred format of presentation:
- Oral presentation only,
- Poster presentation only, or
- Oral / Poster presentation
- All corresponding authors of abstracts will be notified of the approved format of presentation by the Scientific Committee.
Selection process
- The Scientific Committee will review all submitted abstracts. The decision of the Scientific Committee is final.
- All corresponding authors will be informed as to the outcome of their abstract submission.
- All presenters at the 10th ACCP must be confirmed registrants. Confirmed registration is also a prerequisite for publication of abstracts in the Abstract Book.
